Ever since Apple released its overhauled mobile operating system iOS 7, many people facing random crashes. As always happen with new software, iOS 7 is no different, there are bugs left even after severe testing. iOS 7 also has many bugs, people always complain about stability issues and random crashes. Apple is currently testing iOS 7.1 which might fix this issue.

Earlier versions of iOS was much more stable and people were not facing crashes but with iOS 7 people faced blue screen of death which now apple dubbed as ‘ white/black screen of death’. Now Apple has given a statement about the issue. Apple says they are aware of this issue and will be fixed in upcoming update.

Apple in statement given to Mashable said


“Since Apple released iOS 7, its completely revamped operating system for the iPhone, reviews have been mixed but mostly positive. However, a glitch that has quietly plagued iPhone users — the “white/black screen of death,” a bug that abruptly soft reboots the smartphone — will finally be addressed in a future iOS 7 update.

“We have a fix in an upcoming software update for a bug that can occasionally cause a home screen crash”

Apple introduced iPhone 5s with 64 bit architecture and many apps are being updated for 64 bit, but in early stage people facing screen of death which ultimately crashes device. People with iPhone 5s complained the most. Now apple is coming up with a fix.

Apple is currently beta testing iOS 7.1 , whose beta 4 was released on Monday, addressed many issues and is much more stable. So when iOS 7.1 comes out it will come up with ‘White/Black screen of Death’.

So get ready to say bye bye to this random crashes on your iPhone and iPad running iOS 7.
