Last Week Coolpad announced two Dazen smartphones in India. The budget smartphone Coolpad Dazen 1 will be sold via flash sale model. The first flash sale will take place on 9 June on Snapdeal.
Coolpad has revealed that they have received over 1 Lakh registrations for the first sale. Pre-registrations are open till 8 June, so the company might garner more registrations. The company has not revealed how many units will be up for sale in the first flash sale. Looking at the 100,000 pre-registrations, the company should keep over 50,000 units for sale.
Coolpad Dazen 1 is launched in India for Rs. 6,999 while the Dazen X7 is launched in India for Rs. 17,999. Both the smartphones will be exclusively sold on Snapdeal from 9th June.
Coolpad Dazen 1 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
Dazen 1 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 8GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Coolpad Dazen 1 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with a layer of Cool UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Dazen 1 price in India is Rs. 6,999. It comes in Black and White colors. It will go on sale from 9th June in India.
