Google iOS material DesignGoogle has posted a major update for its search client on iOS. Google Search App for iOS has been completely revamped with Google’s new Material design. Google has also added several new features to its search for iPhone and iPad.

Google has integrated Google Maps functionality in the search app. You can search for nearby places and routes within the app. The search results page now shows maps tab. Google has also added New Material design animations.

With the new Google button you can start a new search with just one tap. The button is located at the bottom of the app. On the top, there’s a Recents tab which shows recently visited pages in cards manner, the same way it shows in Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Along with all these new features, Google has added some other features which are not mentioned in change log. Google has added support for many new languages. Google for iOS now allows you search in Hindi and other new languages also.

Google for Andriod has already gained Hindi Voice search functionality but Now Apple iPhone and iPad users can also use Google VOice search in Hindi.

Google for iOS is now optimized for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It now requires iOS 7.0 or later. The 59.8 MB Google search is a universal app an is compatible with iPhone and iPad. Google for iOS v5 is available for free on App Store.
