Samsung Galaxy AlphaAfter sending the invite, Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy Alpha in India for Rs. 39,990. It was announced last month. It is the first phone from Samsung with Metallic frame.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha comes with metallic frame, The back panel of phone is still made up of plastic. The back panel comes with faux leather back. The phone is 6.7mm thick and it weighs 115 grams.

Along with Metallic frame, The device also come with features like fingerprint sensor, Heart rate sensor and dust and water resistance body with IP67 certification.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a 4.7 HD Super AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 326ppi. It is protected by with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on Exynos Octa core processor which is a combination of 1.8 GHz quad core and 1.3GHz quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha features 12 Megapixel Auto Focus rear camera. It also has 2.1 megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB internal memory, which cannot be expanded.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha connectivity options include Advanced LTE and Wi-Fi MIMO (802.11ac), USB 3.0, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC , Infrared, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GLONASS, and IR Remote. The device packs 1,860 mAH battery.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 with a layer of ToucWiz UI. It comes with private mode/ kids mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode features.
