Samsung has launched its new Galaxy C series of smartphones. The first product under the new series is Samsung Galaxy C5. The smartphone is announced in China and it will go on sale from 17 June.
Samsung Galaxy C5 features a 5.2 inch Full HD ( 1920 × 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Processor with 4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 405 GPU.
Galaxy C5 smartphone comes with a 16 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera with a LED flash. It comes with 32GB/64GB internal storage options which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,800 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It comes with fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Samsung Galaxy C5 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is dual sim device with dual standby support.

Samsung Galaxy C5 price in China is 2199 Yuan for 32GB model and 2399 for 64GB model. It comes in Gold, Pink Gold, Silver and Grey colours. It will go on sale in China from 17 June. There is no word about its global rollout.
