Samsung has announced a new low cost smartphone in Galaxy J series called Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini SM-J105. The smartphone is now official in Philippines.
Samsung touts the Galaxy J series as affordable 4G smartphone series but the budget smartphone Galaxy J1 Mini lacks the 4G LTE connectivity. Its price and availability details are unknown.
Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini SM-J105 sports a 4 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Super AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Exynos processor with 768MB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali GPU.
Galaxy J1 Mini features a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 2 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. It packs a 1,500 mAh battery with ultra power saving mode.
Samsung Galaxy J1 mini runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby.
