Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge was launched in India in April. With the flagship device, Samsung choose to remove the MicroSD card slot and announced the smartphone with upto 128GB internal storage.
But now it looks like due to overpricing, Samsung has pulled the 128GB model of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge from India. The smartphones with 128GB capacity are not listed on the company’s official eStore.
Samsung Galaxy S6 128GB was launched in India for Rs. 61,900 while Galaxy S6 Edge 128GB was launched at Rs. 70,900. Due to very high pricing, Samsung might have discontinued the smartphone from India.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge flaunts a 5.1 inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 577 ppi. It comes with dual edged screen on both sides. It is powered by a 64-bit Exynos Octa-core (2.1 GHz Quad-core + 1.5 GHz Quad-core) Processor with 3 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali-T760 GPU.
It comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB on-board storage options. It doesn’t come with an option to expand its storage.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2600 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving mode and fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge runs on latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a layer of TouchWiz UI.
