Samsung has launched its plus variant of flagship smartphone called Samsung Galaxy S8+ in India. The mobile phone has been launched with a price tag of RS. 64,900. It will go on sale from next month.
The company has launched Exynos variant in India. Samsung Galaxy S8+ was announced last month with Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 9 SoC variants. Like every year Samsung has chosen to launch Exynos SoC variant in India.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ flaunts a 6.2 inch Quad HD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display at 570ppi. Its screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with 4GB RAM. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Exynos 9 8895 Processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus comes with a 12 Megapixel camera with Dual LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 64GB/128GB internal storage options, which can be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,500mAh battery which comes with fast charging support and wireless charging support. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ runs on latest Android 7 Nougat with a layer of TouchWiz UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It is water and dust resistant with IP68 certification.
