Motorola Moto G5

Lenovo-owned Motorola recently announced their mid-range smartphones, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at the MWC 2017 tech show in Barcelona, Spain. Also, the company just after the launch event informed that the phones will be launched in India on March 15.

While Motorola is prepping out to launch the phones in India on March 15, here comes the news on where the phones will be available for purchase. A report coming from Gadgets360 claims that the phones will be exclusive to Flipkart, much like what Motorola did with the past Moto G series of phones.

However, the company recently broke the partnership with Flipkart India and has partnered with Amazon India and other e-commerce sites as well. But, the vendor is now heading to Flipkart itself to sell the next iteration of Moto G series. Also, the report claims that Motorola will surpass 10 million phone sales combined if the G5 Plus and G5 goes exclusively to them.

There are no details on the pricing of the phones, though. The Moto G5 Plus is aimed at taking on the Redmi Note 4 in India, whereas the Moto G5 will cement its place in the entry-level category.

Regarding specifications, the Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch display and is powered by the power-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, clubbed with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The G5 Plus uses the same camera sensor like the Samsung Galaxy S7 of 12MP, and there is also an 8MP front-facing camera. The Moto G5 Plus comes with a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.
