Xiaomi has a new less storage variant of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 in India. The company has launched the device with 32GB storage at an introductory price of Rs, 12,999. The device will be available from 20 September in the country.
The smartphone with 64GB and 4GB RAM was launched in India in July. Xiaomi MI Max 2 with 64GB storage was launched with a price of Rs. 16,999. The new 32GB model is launched at an introductory price which will be increased to Rs. 14,999 soon.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a 6.44 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D Curved Glass Display with a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor with 4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.
Mi Max 2 comes with a 12 Megapixel Sony IMX386 Sensor rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, Vo LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,300 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. The battery offers 57 hours of talktime on one complete charge. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8. It has hybrid slot which can act as dual sim slot or expandable slot.
