Reliance Retail has launched a new smartphone LYF Smartphone+ brand in India called Reliance LYF Water 9. It is launched in India for Rs. 8,699. It comes with Fingerprint sensor and 4G VoLTE support.
Reliance LYF Water 9 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS Display protected with Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6573 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali T720 GPU.
LYF Water 9 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,800mAh Battery which offer upto 10 hours of talktime and 115 hours of standby time. It comes with Fingerprint scanner on its back side.
Reliance LYF Water 9 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support, it has hybrid slot.
