As expected, Coolpad has launched a new mid range smartphone in India called Coolpad Cool Play 6. The device is launched with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. The dual rear camera phone will be exclusively available via online retailer Amazon.
Coolpad Cool Play 6 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.95GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Processor with 6GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 510 GPU.
Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with dual 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Phase Detection Autofocus. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 64GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4,060 mAh Battery with Quick charging support. There is a Fingerprint scanner on its back side.
Coolpad Cool Play 6 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Cool UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
