Airtel partners with Celkon, launches Celkon Smart 4G at effective price Rs. 1349

Telecom operator Airtel has partnered with Indian smartphone Maker Celkon to launch a low cost 4G smartphone. The company has launched Celkon Smart 4G with an effective price of Rs. 1349.

Under the partnership the effective price of Celkon Smart 4G comes to Rs. 1,349. Airtel customers will need to buy the phone for Rs. 2,849 and do a recharge of Rs. 169 or more for 36 months. Customers will get a cashback of Rs. 1500 after 36 months. Airtel Customers will als0 get unlimited calling, 0.5GB data per day with Rs. 169 plan for 28 days.

Celkon Smart 4G sports a 4 inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 Processor with 1GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali GPU.

Celkon Smart 4G comes with a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 2 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 1,500mAh Battery.

Celkon Smart 4G runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
