Yes you have read the correct title! Apple is working on releasing two Android Apps this month. Apple has already scheduled its event on 9th September.
At the event, the company will launch new iPhone 6s and other annual software updates. For iPhone and iPad, Apple will release iOS 9 to general public. One of the interesting feature of iOS 9 is ‘Move to iOS’.
With Move To iOS, Apple aims to ease down the migration from Android smartphone to iOS ecosystem. The company will release dedicated Move to iOS app for Android devices.
Apple on its website says:
“Just download the Move to iOS app to wirelessly switch from your Android device to your new iOS device. It securely transfers your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars, wallpaper, and DRM-free songs and books.”
Once the migrations from Android to iOS is completed, the app says that, ‘You can recycle this Android Phone for free at any Apple store’. So as usual the company is leaving no stone to take a dig at Android smartphones.
Another Android App which the iPhone maker is going release is Apple Music App. The new music app was released for iOS users in June. Now the company is bringing Apple Music app to Android devices. Now all features will be available on the rival platform.
