Apple Watch Event ‘Spring Forward’ to take place on 9th March

Apple has announced that it will be holding an event on 9th March. It is expected that Apple will show off its first wearable device, Apple Watch at the event. Apple will announce its price and more details about the watch.

The tagline on the invite reads – “Spring Forward“, which indicates the arrival of Apple Watch. Apple will also announce the launch date of the wearable watch, reports Verge.

Apple Watch was announced in September last year, at that time Apple gave brief details about the Apple Watch. Now Apple will give deeper details about the watch and will show off the working watch.

It comes in two different sizes and it sports a sapphire display. It comes in variety of colors and has different types of wrist band options. It can be charged wireless using wireless charging. The watch comes with a LED which monitors heart rate.

Apple Watch doesn’t have a GPS built-in, instead it uses iPhone GPS to detect the location. The watch comes in three types of finishing and six types of wrist band options. It also comes in Golden flavor.

The wearable device will be compatible with iPhone and iPad devices running on latest version of iOS. Its price will start at $349 (Rs. 21,560). It is expected to go on sale soon after its official launch.
