Asus has launched a new Fonepad tablet in India, Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG for Rs. 8,999. The tablet has 7 inch screen and comes with voice calling support. It runs on older version of Android 4.3. Earlier the company had launched dual sim Fonepad 7 for Rs. 12,999.
Asus fonepad 7 dual sim has almost similar specs to its predecessor, only processor is improved, other specs are same. The tablet has a voice calling support.
Asus Fonepad 7 features a 7 inch LED IPS WSVGA Display with 1024×600 resolution. It runs on 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 ‘Clover Trail+’ Processor with Hyper-Threading technology. It has 1 GB of RAM.
Asus Fonepad 7 features an 2 Megapixel rear camera. It also has 0.3 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 4 and 8 GB of internal memory options which can be further extended upto 64 GB. The tablet also comes with 16GB cloud webstorage out of which 5 GB is for lifetime and 11 GB for one year.
Asus Fonepad 7 has connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Miracast, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. The tablet comes with voice calling support. The tablet comes with 10 hours of battery life.
Asus Fonepad 7 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with a layer of ZenUI out of the box, which cannot be upgraded to Android kitkat.
