Asus Zenfone 3 with 5.5 inch screen, 3GB/4GB RAM announced for $249

Asus has launched its this year’s Zenfone series of smartphones. The company has Asus Zenfone 3 for $249. The smartphone comes with 5.5 inch screen, Fingerprint sensor and 3GB/4GB RAM.

Asus Zenfone 3 features a 5.5 inch Full HD ( 1920×1080 pixels) Super IPS Display protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64-bit 2GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor with 3GB/4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 506 GPU.

Zenfone 3 comes with a 16 Megapixel PixelMaster rear camera with LED flash.  For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB/64GB internal storage options, which can be further expanded via MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.

Asus Zenfone 3 runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with Zen UI 3. It comes with Hybrid sim slot.

Asus Zenfone 3 price is $249 for the 3GB RAM model. It comes in Shimmer Gold, Aqua Blue, Sapphire Black and Moonlight White colors. It will go on sale in select countries soon.
