Samsung Galaxy S5Samsung has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5 Exynos Variant. Couple of months ago, Samsung had rolled out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the International variant of Galaxy S5 SM-G900F which was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.

Now Exynos version of Galaxy S5 has also started receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The update is rolled to the users in Kazakhstan having Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H. The update can be installed via Over The Air (OTA) update or via Samsung Kies.

Android 5.0 Lollipop for Galaxy S5 SM-G900H brings redesigned UI and Material design to the device. The update also brings heads-up notifications, lock screen notifications, improved fingerprint recognition, and improved performance.

If you have received the update notification then you can update your device to Android Lollipop else you can manually check for updates for going to Settings > System > About Device > Check for update. The update is rolled out in phases and will take time to reach all devices.

As of now only select users in Kazakhstan have received the Lollipop update. In India, Samsung had launched the Exynos version of Galaxy S5. So Indian users should get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon.
