Gionee has not launched the smartphone officially in India. But the Gioneee Pioneer P2M is listed on company’s Official website. It is t he first budget smartphone from Gionee to run Android 5.1 out of the box.
Gionee Pioneer P2M features a 4 inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) IPS screen. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Mediatek MTK6582 processor with 1GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
Gionee P2M comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery which offer 15 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Gionee Pioneer P2M runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It comes pre-installed with apps like Saavn, Du Battery Saver, Gionee Xender, Twiter , Wechat , Whatsapp , Facebook, Yahoo cricket , Du Speed booster, Amigo Paper, Game Zone.
