Gionee Virtual Reality VR set launched in India for Rs. 2,499

Gionee has entered Virtual Reality market in India with its first VR set. The Chinese company has launched Gionee VR set in India. The price of the VR is Rs. 2,499, and is available via retail stores.

The VR headset from Gionee is available in India. The company has not revealed any specifications of the device. However we think it may handle smartphones having screen size upto 5.5 inch.

It was unveiled with Gionee S6 Pro. It features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels)2.5D curved glass Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.9 GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-860 GPU.

Gionee S6 Pro comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.

Gionee VR set price in India is Rs. 2,499. It is available in country.
