As you might have already heard about the Narendra Modi’s announcement regarding the government ditching the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes in the country. However, some might feel it as a strange decision, but this was always coming to remove the black money in India.

The move was a brave one, but one thing which really is annoying several Indian citizens is the immediate implementation. That being said, when PM Modi announced this year, it was around 8PM yesterday and said that the banks won’t be effective for the next days including every single ATM over the entire country.

So, everyone who’s left with the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes were in front of the ATM’s to grab Rs. 100 notes. However, some people believe that they are in a digital world. When the news was announced, everyone was confused about this move, but the Noida-based Paytm was all over the internet saying that ‘Paytm Karo’, which is quite obvious.

And, Paytm also reported that their app downloads on both Android and iOS are increased by nearly 200 percent, which is understandable. Are you among the one person like me who have left with no money in your pockets apart from the banned Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes? Then, probably this is the right way in dealing with merchants such as auto drivers, restaurant owners, etc.

All you need to do is ask the merchant to download the payment app which you’re paying them, whether it be Paytm or Freecharge or etc. Load up your money in the wallet and just transfer the respective amount to their wallet, which is the easiest way to deal right now.

All said and done, our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest move not only eradicates the black money, but also an initiative to digitalize country, which they call it as Digital India.
