Back in September we reported that HTC is all set to launch HTC Desire 728G in India soon. Now it looks like the device is available in India for ₹17,990. Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom has confirmed that the device is available in India.
HTC launched the Desire 728 in China this month. Earlier the company started importing the device in India. The Desire 728G is expected to officially launched in India soon.
HTC Desire 728G sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor with 1.5GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali 450 MP4 GPU.
Desire 728G comes with a 13 Megapixel BSI Sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel BSI Sensor front camera. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB via MicroSDXC card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,800 mAh battery which gives 21 hours of talktime and 485 hours of standby time on 3G network
HTC Desire 728G runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of HTC Sense UI. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM/CDMA) device with dual standby support.
