HTC starts importing Nexus 9 Tablet in India, launch imminent

After Google officially unveiled Nexus 9 tablet, Google had listed Nexus 9 on Indian Google Play Store for Rs. 28,900. It was expected to go on sale in India from 12 November, but it didn’t happen. Nexus 9 official launch date in India is not revealed by Google.

But we have some good for those who are looking to buy the Nexus 9 Tablet. We have spotted the Nexus 9 on the Indian import manifest records. The import record indicates that Nexus 9 will be launched in India soon. We can even expect it go on sale in India from this week only.

As you can see in the image above, HTC has started importing Nexus 9 in India. HTC has imported 2,000 units of Nexus 9 on 15 November in India. The import price of device is Rs. 21,742 and Google has already revealed Nexus 9 MRP in India which is Rs. 28,900. It looks like 16GB model will go on sale in India first, later 32 GB model will be released.

Google Nexus 9 is priced in India at Rs. 28,900 for 16 GB Wi-Fi only model. There’s a 32 GB model too which comes with LTE is listed for Rs. 44,900.

HTC Nexus 9 comes Dual front-facing speakers with HTC BoomSound.

Google Nexus 9 sports a 8.9 inch QXGA (2048×1536 pixels) screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It powered by a 2.3 GHz dual core 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.

Google Nexus 9 comes in 16 GB and 32 GB (ROM) on-board storage options. HTC Nexus 9 tablet comes with 2 GB of RAM. For graphics it has Kepler GPU.

Google Nexus 9 features a 8 Megapixel f/2.4, Auto Focus rear camera with Dual LED flash. Nexus 9 has protruding rear camera. It comes with a 1.6 megapixel f/2.4 front camera.

Google Nexus 9 connectivity options include LTE , 3G, Wi-Fi MIMO (802.11ac), USB, Bluetooth, NFC , Infrared, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GLONASS, and 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

Google Nexus 9 runs on Google Android Latest operation system Android 5.0 Lollipop.
