Idea Cellular, major telecom company has launched 4G services in India. The company has started teasing the launch of new service and it has been started to rolled out from South India.
Idea will roll out the 4G services in 750 cities across 10 circles. The 4G service will be extended to select cities of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, Punjab, Haryana, Northeast and Orissa regions by March 2016. In many of the above circles, Idea is teasing the 4G service launch.
The company is now offering free 1GB of free 4G data to customers in select circles. Idea is sending messages to customers to pre-book the 4G service. Customers who pre-book the 4G LTE will get free 1GB of 4G data after official launch.
Customer can avail the benfit of free 1GB free 4G data by pre booking for the service. Customer can pre-book by sending sms or by registering on the company website. The offer is available in Madhya Pradesh(MP), Chhattigarh, Punjab and Haryana.
As of now, Idea has launched the 4G services in Kochi, Hosur, Kadapa, Mallapuram, Madurai, Mysore, Rajahmundry, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam, while Belgaum, Calicut, Cuddalore, Chitradurga, Guntur, Kakinada, Kancheepuram and Trichur will get 4G coverage by 31st December 2015.
To use 4G LTE service, you need a 4G SIM & a 4G compatible handsets on Band 3 (1800 MHz). Idea is offering free sim 4G sim upgrade. Customers who wish to use 4G services will need to visit idea store to get free 4G compatible sim card.
