Apple earlier this month released iOS 7.1, it was the first major update to iOS 7. It brought many UI tweaks and many performance improvements. iOS 7.1 also came with several fixes for Touch ID and random crashes on iPhone 5s. Apart from all these changes iOS 7.1 also patches the jailbreak exploits. It closed all the doors for jailbreak device running on iOS 7.1.
But we may be not very far from iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak. Renowned hacker Winocm has posted a video of untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1. Winocm and iH8Sn0w had earlier released a public jailbreak for devices running iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 6.1.4.
In a tweet he posted a link to video(attached above) which shows iPhone 4 having untethered jailbreak. After winocm’s tweet, @iH8sn0w too claims that he have to record untethered jailbreak on A5 chip.
Well winocm didn’t tells any ETA about the jailbreak release. Earlier with iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak also he started teasing it months ago and didn’t released it until December. So don’t get excited about iOS 7.1 jailbreak we may not see it until iOS 8 or it may never happen as winocm has announced that he will be working for Apple in coming months.
