Lenevo has launched a new Lenovo S8 tablet in India for Rs. 16,990. The voice calling tablet was unveiled earlier this year and now it is launched in India. The Lenovo S8 tablet is available exclusively on Flipkart.
Lenovo S8 sports a 8 inch WUXGA (1920×1200 pixels) IPS OGS display at 282ppi pixel density. The tablet is powered by a 1.86 GHz quad core 64 bit Intel Atom Z3745 Processor with 2 GB of RAM.
Lenovo S8 comes with a 8 megapixel BSI 2 Sensor rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 1.6 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 on-board storage which can not be expanded.
Lenovo S8 connectivity options include LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,290 mAh battery which gives 7 hours of usage time and 396 hours of standby time.
Lenovo S8 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat. It comes with many pre-loaded apps like SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit apps. The tablet supports voice calling facility.
