Indian manufacturer, Micromax, has announced a partnership with VISA and TranServ. The strategic partnership will offer the next generation payments solutions in India.Micromax, VISA and TranServ has signed MoU having common strategic vision. The partnership will utilize Micromax mobile devices, VISA’s digital payments products and TranServ’s capabilities to promote indigenous digital payment infrastructure. The company will launch new mPayment app called Udio.
The payment solutions will soon be available to Micromax smartphone users through the Udio app. Udio is a digital wallet enabled by TranServ to create the best payment experiences for customers. Udio will allow social payments and merchant payments. The wallet allows consumers to shop using a Visa card number linked to the underlying prepaid wallet, wherever Visa is accepted, thereby making the same money available for both for the online and offline payment acceptance.
