Nokia 2 with 5 inch screen, 1GB RAM launched in India, priced at Rs. 6,999

Nokia has finally launched its budget smartphone, Nokia 2 in India. The device was announced last month but its pricing was not revealed. Now the company has launched the smartphone for Rs. 6,999 in the country. It will go on sale in India from tomorrow.

Nokia 2 features a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D sculpted display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 Processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 304 GPU.

Nokia 2 comes with a 8 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,100 mAh battery. It is a splash proof device with IP52 certification.

Nokia 2 runs on Android 7 Nougat which is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Nokia 2 Price in India is Rs. 6,999. It comes in Pewter Black, Pewter White and Copper Black colours. It will on sale in India from 24 November.
