Telecom Operator Reliance Jio had announced its much awaited Reliance Jio Phone in India last month. The company has announced the phone with an effective price of Rs. 0. The operator will keeping Rs. 1500 as refundable security deposit.
For public, Reliance Jio Phone will be available from next month. However you can pre-book the device from 23 August. You can pre-book the device from nearby reliance Digital store or Xpress Stores.
Reliance has announced new plans for its feature phones:
- Making voice free for 50 Cr feature phone users
- Introducing an unlimited data plan for JioPhone users at only Rs. 153 per month
- Introducing an innovative JioPhone TV-Cable to help connect the JioPhone to ANY TV for watching your favorite internet content
- Announcing affordable ALL UNLIMITED sachets at Rs. 54 for a week and Rs. 24 for 2 days
Reliance Jio has also started taking user interest on the Jio Phone on its website. If you are interesting in buying a phone, then you can fill the form on the company website and it will keep you posted about the upcoming device.
Reliance Jio Phone price will be Rs. 1500. After using the device for three years, you need to return the device to the telecom operator and it will refund you Rs. 1500. It’s pre-booking will start from 23 August. The device will sold on first come first serve basis.
