Samsung Galaxy S6Earlier this year Samsung launched its flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S6 with its home-grown Exynos 7420 processor. Instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, the South Korean company opted for Exynos SoC.

It’s not like that Samsung Exynos Chipset doesn’t perform well, the 7420 is a beast itself. But Snapdragon processors have edge over Exynos processors.

Samsung didn’t choose the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor due to its over heating issues. The issues are indeed real and smartphones using this processor heats like anything.

Samsung is now working on a variant of Samsung Galaxy S6 with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. No it won’t be Snapdragon 810 SoC, instead it will be Snapdragon 801 Processor.
