Sony had unveiled Xperia M2 during MWC, and now Sony has launched the device in India for Rs. 21,990. Sony Xperia M2 will compete with other devices in mid level market.
Sony during the MWC launched the single sim Sony Xperia M2 model. Sony has now launched dual sim model in India. The design of Xperia M2 is a unibody design, and it does look good. It gives premium feel. It has a plastic body.
Sony Xperia M2 features a 4.8 inch qHD Display with 960 x 540 resolution. It runs on 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has Adreno 305 GPU. It comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB using MicroSD card.
Sony Xperia M2 features an 8 Megapixel rear camera. Its rear camera comes with auto scene recognition, HDR, time-shift burst, picture effect and social live features, the camera is also capable of 1080p recording. It also has 0.3 MP front camera.
Sony Xperia M2 has connectivity options include GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth, DLNA and Micro-USB. It has 2,300mAh battery which can give 14 hours of talk-time. It is a dual sim device (GSM+GSM) with dual active support, both the sim cards will be active at the same time.
Sony Xperia M2 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Sony may push an update for Android Kitkat in coming months.

Sony Xperia M2 is launched at a price of Rs. 21,990. The device will be available from 25 April across all stores. Sony Xperia M2 comes in multiple colors.
