WhatsApp has now aggressively started rolling out new features for its Android app. The instant messaging app has now rolled out several long awaited features for its Android client.
WhatsApp has added ‘document sharing’ feature on Android. Now you can share multiple file typse on WhatsApp for Android. Just select the document option from the attachment menu and send the any PDF file to any contact or group.
In the recent update, WhatsApp has also added post formatting tools. You can now post messages in Bold and Italics. To show the message in bold, simply put the ‘*’ (asterisk) before and after text. And for italics, put the ‘_’ (underscore) before and after the text.
For example, If you want to type MakTechBlog in Bold, then type *MakTechBlog* and it will show up as MakTechBlog in Whatsapp. Same goes for italics. You can use both type of formatting in one message.
To get this new features, you will need to download the latest version of WhatsApp from Google Play. The instant messaging is completely free.
