Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch a new smartphone in India tomorrow. The company is calling the upcoming phone as ‘Desh ka Smartphone’. The new phone will be under Redmi series and we think it could be Xiaomi Redmi 5A.
The company announced the Xiaomi Redmi 5A in China last month. Xiaomi could launch the same smartphone or could change the name. The device will be priced below Rs. 10,000 in the country and will go on sale from December.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a 5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Processor with 2GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 308 GPU.
Redmi 5A comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
