Xiaomi Mi 5 launch date in India set for 31st March

Xiaomi has finally revealed the launch date in India of Xiaomi Mi 5. The flagship smartphone will be launched in India on 31st March. It is unclear whether Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro will also be launched in India this week.

Xiaomi has started sending out the invites for the launch event happening on Thursday, 31st March. Xiaomi Mi 5 price in India will be revealed during the launch event.

Xiaomi might launch both Mi5 and Mi 5 Pro in India. The smartphone is expected to go on sale in India from early April 2016. Its price in India will start at Rs. 20,000.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU. It runs on Android 6 Lollipop with MIUI 7.

Xiaomi Mi5 comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 4 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB/128GB inbuilt storage, which cannot be expanded. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button.

Xiaomi Mi 5 price in India will start around Rs. 20,000. It comes in Black, White and Gold color options. It will be launched in India on 31 March.
