Xiaomi Redmi 8 with 4GB RAM launched in India, price starts at Rs. 7,999

Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The Chinese company has launched Redmi 8 in India. It’s price in India starts at Rs. 7,999 for the base 3GB RAM model. It is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC.

Xiaomi Redmi 8 features a 6.22 inch HD+ (720 × 1520 pixels) 19:9 2.5D curved glass Display. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 505 GPU.

Redmi 8A comes with a 12 Megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor primary and 2 Megapixel secondary rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery. It has fingerprint sensor on its back side.

Xiaomi Redmi 8 runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.

Xiaomi Redmi 8 Price in India is Rs. 7,999 for base 3GB RAM model and Rs. 8,999 for 4GB RAM. It comes in Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red and Onxy Black colors. It will go on sale in the country from 12 October.
