Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone under Redmi series in India. The company has launched Redmi 9 in India. It is launched with a starting price of Rs. 8999. Redmi 9 is powered by Helio G35 SoC and has 4GB of RAM.
Redmi 9 features a 6.53 inch HD+ (720 × 1600 pixels) 20:9 IPS LCD Dot Drop Display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio G35 Processor with 4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
Redmi 9 comes with a 13 Megapixel primary, 2 Megapixel Macro lens and 2 Megapixel Depth Sensor rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 64GB/128GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 512GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 runs on Android 10 based on MIUI 11. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.
