Xiaomi starts teasing a new smartphone launch, could launch Xiaomi Redmi 5

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has started teasing the launch of new smartphone in India. As per the new teaser posted by the company, the new Redmi phone will be launched on 14th March. Xiaomi Redmi 5 is expected to be launched in India next week. It will be priced around Rs. 6,999.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 features a 5.7 inch HD+ ( 1440 × 720 pixels) 18:9 2.5D curved glass Display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Processor with 2GB/3GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.

Redmi 5 comes with a 12 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes in 16GB/32GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
