Months after beta testing of iOS 9.3.2 , Apple released the iOS 9.3.2 earlier this month. The update focused on bug fixes rather than adding new features. The update was released for compatible devices via OTA update.
When installing iOS 9.3.2 on Apple iPad Pro 9.7 inch, many people bricked their device. The error message they see is ‘Error 56’. After bricking, the device asks users to plug in the device and connect to iTunes.
For many iPad Pros, connecting and restoring via iTunes doesn’t help as well. People are now end up bricked iPad Pro. As of now there is no solution from the Cupertino company.
Apple has acknowledged the ‘Error 56’ issue and said that they working on a fix. As per the company, the issue is affecting only limited numbers of 9.7 inch iPad Pro.
Apple has pulled the iOS 9.3.2 update for iPad Pro. So users who haven’t updated yet will not see any update notification. We might see the iOS 9.3.3 update soon with ‘Error 56’ fixes.
