Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has revealed that it has sold record number of Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3s Prime smartphones in India via online model. As per the company, it has sold over 4 Million units of Redmi 3S.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S PrimeThe mobile phone was launched in India in August for Rs. 6,999 and its prime model was launched at Rs. 8,999. The figure of 4 Million units includes both Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime.

Last year in November, online retailer FLipkart had revealed that it sold 1 Million units on its platform. Now around six months later, Xiaomi has revealed that 4 Million units of Xiaomi Redmi 3s are sold in India in nine months.

The company claims that with this feat, Xiaomi Redmi 3S becomes highest selling smartphone on online platform. Earlier we have reviewed the Xiaomi Redmi 3S prime and found out that it is one of the best mid range smartphone priced under Rs. 10,000 price segment.

Xiaomi is gearing upto launch a new Redmi smartphone in India next week. It is expected that Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be launched in India on 16th May 2017.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s features a 5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Processor with 2GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 505 GPU.

Redmi 3s smartphone comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with a LED flash. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using MicroSD Card.

Xiaomi redmi 3S price in India is Rs. 6,999 and Redmi 3s Prime price in India is Rs. 8,999. Both the smartphones are available via Flipkart and Mi Store.
