After releasing the Android Lollipop update for Xolo One, Xolo has released the Lollipop update for yet another mid range device. Xolo has now released Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for Xolo Q610s.
The Lollipop update for Xolo Q610s is available via Xolo website. The update can be installed manually only. Xolo has not released the OTA update for the device.
Android 5 Lollipop update for Xolo Q610s brings Material Design, better UI and other improvements. Xolo has not revealed what changes are made in the Lollipop update for Xolo Q610s.
Xolo Q610s was launched in India last year for Rs. 7,499. It comes with leather finish on the back panel. Xolo has managed to update the Q610s ahead of Android One devices, however Google has announced that the Lollipop update for the Android One devices will be released soon.
Xolo Q610s features a 4.5 inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) IPS Display which has pixel density of 218ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MTK6582M Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Mali 400 MP2 GPU.
Xolo Q610s comes with 5 a Megapixel AutoFocus rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it has a 0.3 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
You can install the Android 5.0 Lollipop on your Xolo Q610s by downloading the software update from Xolo website and install it manually.
