Apple has seeded iOS 10.1.1 update to public devices. The update comes a week after the company released iOS 10.1 update for compatible iPhone and iPad devices. The update is available via OTA update.
The iOS 10.1.1 update is basically a patch update for iOS 10.1 update released last week. The minor update comes with bug fixes and some performance improvements.
The first major update for iOS 10 was iOS 10.1 which comes with many new features. It brought portrait mode for Apple iPhone 7 Plus. Portrait mode lets you capture bokeh effect, it was shown during the launch event but was released with the software update last week.
Apart from that iOS 10.1 didn’t brought any new feature. But the software update did come up with usual bug fixes and battery usage improvement. Several other issues were also fixed.
Now Apple has seeded iOS 10.1.1 update for all compatible iPhone and iPad devices. The update lets you see Health data again. With iOS 10.1 update, some users were not able to see Health data but now with iOS 10.1.1, you can see health data again.
iOS 10.1.1 is available for iPhone 5 and above including latest iPhone 7. It is also available for fourth generation iPad and above. It is small in size, the size differs device to device. In our case the update size was just 48MB. You can install the update by Over-The-Air (OTA) update.
