Asus has announced a new variant of Zenfone 2 called Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition. The smartphone comes with Intel Z3590 SoC and 4GB RAM. The device is listed on official website without pricing and availability information.
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition comes in two colors – Silver and Carbon. The Drift Silver’s multi-faceted tactile finish is made up of over 500 polygons while the Carbon Night color variant has weaved pattern back cover.
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition features a 5.5 inch Full HD ( 1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64-bit 2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Atom Z3590 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with PowerVR G6430 GPU.
Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition comes with a 13 Megapixel PixelMaster rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 128GB internal storage, which can be further expanded via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery, It comes with fast charging through which it can be charged upto 60 percent in 40 minutes.
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Zen UI.
