Asus has launched Asus ZenFone 2, its flagship device in its ZenFone series of smartphones. It comes with 5.5 inch FHD screen, it also comes with 4GB RAM which makes its first smartphone with 4 GB RAM. Asus ZenFone 2 base model is launched for $199 (Rs.12,300) and will go on sale from March 2015.
This year Asus has launched only one smartphone in ZenFone series, Last year Asus had launched series of smartphones which were differentiated by screen sizes.
Asus ZenFone 2 features ergonomic luxe design with curved case and ultra-slim edge. It has 72% screen-to-body ratio.
Asus Zenfone 2 features a 5.5 inch Full HD ( 1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 Processor with 4 GB of RAM. It comes in 16GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB internal storage options.
Asus Zenfone 2 comes with a 13 megapixel PixelMaster rear camera with f/2.0 and zero shutter lag. The rear camera is equipped with Real Tone Flash to ensure warm skin tones and accurate color. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera.
Asus Zenfone 2 connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery, It comes with fast charging through it can be charge upto 60 percent in 40 minutes.
Asus Zenfone 2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Zen UI. Asuz ZenFone 2 is a dual sim device.
