Yesterday Chinese company Coolpad started selling its latest smartphone, Coolpad Note 5 in India. The company has revealed that it has sold over 25K units in first day of sale.
The smartphone is available via open sale in India on Amazon. Coolpad Note 5 was launched last month in India for Rs. 10,999. It has managed to sell 25,000 units in first day.
The company will also host first fan meet in Bangalore on 21st October. To mark 1 million fans Coolpad India will be giving away Note 5 through multiple contests.
Coolpad India will also be upgrading its 100 Coolpad Fans to Note 5 through various social media contests and online games. The winners of these games can replace any phone from the Note series (Coolpad Note 3, Note3 Lite and Note 3 plus) at the Coolpad service centers by producing the requisite documents.
Coolpad Note 5 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D laminated Display protected with scratch resistant coating. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 405 GPU.
