Gionee has launched a new A series of smartphones at MWC in Barcelona last month. The Chinese company showcased the Gionee A1 mobile phone during the event.

Gionee A1The smartphone comes with a selfie flash. Gionee A1 comes with 16 Megapixel selfie camera with a flash. It boasts 4GB RAM and runs on latest Android 7 Nougat out of the box.

Gionee A1 features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels)2.5D curved glass Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.8GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-860 GPU.

Gionee A1 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel front camera with selfie flash. It comes with 64GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.

Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4,010 mAh battery with fast charging support. It has fingerprint scanner under home button.

Gionee A1 runs on Android 7 Nougat with a layer of Amigo UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Gionee A1 price is 349 Euros (Approx. Rs. 24,600). It comes in Gray, Black and Gold colors. It will go on sale in select countries from April 2017.
