Two years after Elife E7 launch, Gionee is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone, Gionee Elife E8. The upcoming smartphone will come with high end specifications. The smartphone is expected to be launched in coming months.
Gionee E8 was recently certified by TENAA, certification authority in China. The device is now listed on TENAA website, the listing reveals the images and several specifications of the Elife E8.
Elife E8 will be a phablet and it will come with a 6 inch Quad HD screen (2560×1440 pixels) AMOLED Display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It will be powered by a 2 GHz Qcta Core Snapdragon 810 Processor with 3GB of RAM.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It will come with 3,520mAh battery.
Elife E8 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI. Its dimensions are 164.0×82.3×9.6mm and it weighs 207 gms.
Last month Gionee launched Gionee Elife S7 in India for Rs. 24,999. During the launch event, the company confirmed that the Elife E8 will be launched in June-July. So we expect it to go official soon.
