Gionee has launched its flagship smartphone Gionee Elife E8 in India. It is launched in India for Rs. 34,999. It will be exclusively available on Snapdeal from 12 October. For the first time the company has gone with any online retailer.
Gionee E8 will be online only smartphone. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side. The company is touting its camera as the most important feature. It boasts 24MP camera.
Gionee Elife E8 sports a 6 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.0 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
Gionee E8 comes with a 23.7 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 128GB. It comes with a Fingerprint scanner on its back panel.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,520 mAh battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. Both SIM card slot supports 4G LTE SIM.
Gionee Elife E8 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.1 UI. Its dimensions are 164.0×82.3×9.6 mm and weighs 207gms.
