Gionee has reportedly launched a new smartphone in India called Gionee M5 Plus. The smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 26,999. It was announced in China in December and now it is all set to be launched in India.
Mumbai based retailer has confirmed that the Chinese company has launched Gionee M5 Plus in India for Rs. 26,999. Gionee has not launched the smartphone officially in India.
Gionee M5 Plus sports a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED Display protected with Coring Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali T-720 GPU.
Gionee M5 Plus comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus(PDAF). For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,020mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint scanner under its home button.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI.
