Gionee is all set to launch a new smartphone in China. The company will launch the all new Gionee M6. The new smartphone will reportedly come with added security features.
Many Android smartphone manufacturers focus on security features via software side. While Apple uses a specially designed security chip embedded into processor. This makes the phone more secure.
Now rumors suggests that Chinese manufacturer Gionee will launch the new M6 smartphone with a dedicated encrypted chip. With this chip, encryption will take place on the chip. It will also come with enhanced security features as well.
Recently Yu Lei, Vice-President, Gionee confirmed on weibo that the new smartphone will indeed come with dedicated encryption chip. We think that Gionee M6 will be new smartphone with encryption chip.
The smartphone has also made its entry into Chinese certification website, TENAA. The listing shows the photo of the smartphone and also suggests some specifications of the mobile phone.
Gionee M6 GN8003 will come with 5.5 inch Full HD Screen. It will be powered by a Octa Core Snapdragon 652 Processor with 4GB of RAM. Its internal storage will be 32GB.
The listing reveals that the Gionee M6 will pack mammoth 5,000mAh battery. It will run on latest Android 6 Marshmallow. There will be fingerprint sensor under home button.
Gionee M6 will be launched in China on 26 July. We will share more details once we have it.
