After listing the device on official India website, Gionee has launched Gionee Marathon M5 Lite in India. The smartphone is launched in India at Rs. 12,999 in Gold color option.
Gionee M5 Lite comes with huge 4,000mAh battery in a smaller form factor. It is now available via official Gionee store. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.
Gionee Marathon M5 Lite features a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS LCD Display protected with Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad core MediaTek MT6735 Processor with 3GB RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-720 GPU.
Gionee M5 Lite comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,000 mAh battery which offer 40 hours of talktime.
Gionee Marathon M5 Lite runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
